Multisite is a WordPress feature which allows users to create a network of sites on a single WordPress installation.

You can run a network of multiple WordPress blogs and websites from a single WordPress installation.

   2. Can configure aspects such as registration, user onboarding, upload and so on for the entire multisite network from the settings panel.
   3. Certain plugins such as Yoast(SEO), MultilingualPress(multilingual), Jetpack offer global settings panel that is again controlled by the Super Admin
   4. The site administrator cannot install or change plugins and themes, only the Super Admin can do this. This lets you more control and avoids conflicts, keeping control centralized.
