It was 6-1, 6-0 in the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic, a serena would like to forget. Known for having the most potent in the women’s game – and the best of all time, in the eyes of many – William had it broken six consecutive times, littered with seven double-faults. Her groundstrokes were not much better, often venturing into “shank” territory, leaving absolutely no room for suspense.
